Dr. David Cockrell
Dr. Cockrell was born in Perry, OK in 1954. He graduated in 1972 from Red Rock High School. He earned a BS degree in 1975 from Oklahoma State University at Stillwater, Oklahoma. He received his Optometry degree from The Southern College of Optometry at Memphis, Tennessee in 1981.
Dr. Cockrell has been in private practice in Stillwater since 1981. He is a member of the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians, Oklahoma Optometric Foundation, American Optometric Association, The American Optometric Association Contact Lens section(Charter Member), The Heart of American Contact Lens and Primary Care Congress (served on the board of directors 1995-2001), The Southwest Council of Optometry (served on the board of directors 1995-2003) and the Oklahoma State Board of Examiners in Optometry. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.
He served as the President of the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians in 1993-1994. He was named the outstanding Optometrist in Oklahoma in 1996, and named to the Oklahoma Optometric Team of the Century in 2000.
He has served as Chairman of three different committees for the American Optometric Association and currently serves as chairman of AOA Statutory Scope Committee. He has lectured on primary health care topics, and presented professional testimony to the Oklahoma State Senate and House of Representatives.
He currently serves as President of the Oklahoma State Board of Examiners in Optometry. Dr. Cockrell has been active in the community, having served on the board of directors for the Stillwater Rotary Club, as charter member and President of the Stillwater Group Homes and as a director of the Stillwater Chamber of Commerce, Stillwater Public Education Foundation and many volunteer positions in youth sports activities in the community. He currently serves as an adult committee member to BSA troop 828 in which his son is a scout. He also serves as a vision consultant to the Oklahoma State Athletic Department.
He is married to Dr. Cherry B. Cockrell and they have 2 children.

Dr. Cherry Cockrell
Dr. Cockrell was born in Savannah, Tennessee in 1955. She graduated in 1973 from Central High School in Selmer, Tennessee. She attended Memphis State University. She completed her BS and received her Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry at Memphis, Tennessee in 1981.
Dr. Cockrell has been in private practice in Stillwater since 1981. She is a member of the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians, Oklahoma Optometric Foundation, American Optometric Association, The American Optometric Associations Contact Lens Section(Charter Member), The Heart of America Contact Lens and Primary Care Congress, and The Southwest Council of Optometry. She served as the charter president for the Oklahoma Optometric Foundation.
Dr. Cockrell has been very active in the community having served on the boards of Big Brothers/Big Sisters, the United Way, and Stillwater Group Homes (charter member). She is also very active in the educational system having served in many PTA roles including President. She also serves as a consultant to the Oklahoma State Athletic Department. She is married to Dr. David Cockrell and they have 2 children.

Dr. Jeff A. Miller
Dr. Miller was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in 1962. He graduated from Putnam City West High School in 1980. After graduation he attended the University of Oklahoma where he obtained a BS in Microbiology. He received his Optometry degree from Northeastern State University College of Optometry in Tahlequah, Oklahoma in 1988. Following his doctorate, Dr. Miller completed a one year residency in "Advanced Diagnosis and Therapeutics of Ocular Disease". He practiced in Tulsa, Oklahoma for ten years in two primary surgical practices that emphasized medical, surgical and laser eyecare.
Dr. Miller has been in private practice in Stillwater, Oklahoma since December, 1998. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, The Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians, and the International Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He was awarded the Young OD of the Year Award in 1993 by the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians. He received the NSU College of Optometry alumni of the year award in 1994.
He served as President of the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians in 2002-2003. Dr. Miller has served as a member of several Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians committees including Future Technology in Eyecare, Government Relations, and Childrens Coalition Task Force.
Dr. Miller is active in the community. He is past president of the Pawnee Rotary Club and currently serves on the Pawnee Hospital Foundation. He is married to Marie Miller and they have 3 children.

Dr. Kong-Lin Chang
Dr. Chang has been a long term resident of Stillwater, since 1973. He graduated from Stillwater High School in 1989. After high school, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Oklahoma State University. Shortly after, he took a leave from Stillwater to Tahlequah, Oklahoma to attend Northeastern State University College of Optometry (NSUCO). Upon graduation, he returned to Stillwater to join Cockrell Eyecare Center.
While in Optometry school, Kong was very active in student organizations including the American Optometric Students Association, American Academy of Optometry Student Liason to Northeastern State University, NSUCO class of 2002 treasurer in 1998, The Heart of America Primary Care and Contact Lens Congress member, and Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians. In 2002 he was voted NSUCO Optometric Students Association's Student of the Year award as well as receiving the NSUCO Marchon Practice Management Award.
Dr. Chang plans to be involved in the Stillwater community, as he was in school. He has been a professional photographer since 1990.
